About the Temple

Wat Khao Takiab is a temple located on Khao Takiab hill in Nong Kae Subdistrict, Hua Hin District, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province. It is a famous tourist destination well-known among both Thai and international visitors. This temple has significant historical and cultural importance.

The temple grounds contain many sacred objects, including the Standing Buddha statue (Pang Ham Samut) that majestically stands on the hilltop, offering beautiful views of the Gulf of Thailand. There are also many monkeys living in the area, giving it another name: "Monkey Mountain".
